Sound familiar?
Your oboist's reed died in October and nobody knows why.
You've spent three rehearsals on a bassoon problem you can't diagnose from the podium.
A parent just asked which instrument to buy and you're not sure what to tell them.
All-State is in eight weeks and your double reeds need more than you have time to give.
That's what we're here for.
Santana Music becomes an extension of your program, so your double reed students get specialist attention and you get your rehearsal time back.

Meet Lazara
I understand the many responsibilities that come with leading a successful band program. My goal is to be a trusted resource who supports you, saves you time, and gives your students the highest quality double reed education and materials.
As a professional bassoonist, educator, clinician and reedmaker, I've spent my career helping students grow in skill, confidence and a love for music that lasts a lifetime.
— Lazara Santana, Founder, Santana Music

How it works
What it costs
Nothing!
There are no membership fees and no long-term contracts. Partner schools simply agree to place a minimum of two reed orders per academic year, which keeps the program sustainable and the resources free.

Growing programs earn more.
As participation grows, schools unlock deeper discounts, priority service and exclusive incentives.

"Ms. Santana is the utmost professional, and it has been a pleasure to have her on our instructional staff. Our bassoon students looked forward to lessons and made incredible progress with her instruction. We are looking forward to continuing our partnership this school year!"
Keith Clupper, Ed.S.
Director of Bands, West Forsyth High School
"My biggest challenge was knowing whether a student was struggling with their own knowledge, or whether the reed or instrument was holding them back. My students developed more efficient, bassoon-specific approaches to voicing and airflow."
Mikala Brown
Associate Director of Bands, Parkview High School
What directors say
